Complication management may require creative think Complication management may require creative thinking, at times. Snapped prosthetic screw inside the implant. Usually, I get it out with a small round bur going in reverse, but this one was stubborn and the recommended technique was damaging the internal threads of the implant so got a little creative instead of removing a well-integrated implant and minimizing further trauma and redo. Drilled down the screw channel with copious irrigation and the same round bur creating a sizeable post space. Cemented the thick post inside, temporary, buildup, prep, scan, crown. Worked out pretty well!
